It comes with the Chewing input method and supports a variety of other input methods, including CoolCangjie, Array, Dayi, Pinyin, Quick, and emojime. It is fully compatible with the latest Microsoft Windows operating systems.
PIME is a platform for developing Chinese Text Services Framework (TSF) input methods on Windows using Python. Chewing is one of the input methods built on the PIME platform. It provides a Zhuyin-based typing experience that can replace Natural Input and Microsoft New Phonetic. Since being migrated to the new platform architecture, Chewing has continued to receive improvements to ensure compatibility with the latest versions of Windows.
